About The Event

The AVF features 34 companies from a cross section of industries.

No longer is the United States alone in producing entrepreneurs. Countries such as China, India and Israel, to name a few, are developing world class companies. In order for the US, and in particular the Mid-Atlantic region of the country to grow economically we need to marry ideas with capital.

We're bringing entrepreneurs and investors together

Join us to hear from this year’s keynote speaker, Brian Cohen -- chairman of New York Angels, the first investor in Pinterest, the co-founder of Launch.it and author of “What Every Angel Investor Wants You to Know.”

Largest gathering of Investors & Entrepreneurs in the Mid-Atlantic region

Showcasing over 550 companies in over two decades.

The AVF program is a total community effort from start to finish, with every angel group in the Mid-Atlantic receiving pertinent information on the AVF and sending their members to attend & scout the fair. Applicants to the AVF are reviewed by 80 judges (made up of angels and conduits to angels) and 34 lucky entrepreneurs (out of hundreds) are selected to showcase their new venture on the day of the fair.
